3rd Medical Group
The 3rd Medical Group is a DOD/VA Joint Venture medical facility with 60 inpatient beds. The hospital offers a wide range of services with many specialties. It also offers a Multi-Service Unit, an Ambulatory Procedure Unit, Labor and Delivery, and a fully functioning Intensive Care Unit.
The 3rd Medical Group has a proud history, earning 18 battle streamers for service in both the Korean and the Vietnam Wars. In addition, the group has been awarded two Presidential Unit Citations, six Air Force Outstanding Unit Awards (three with combat "V" devices), the Republic of Korea Presidential Unit Citation, and the Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross with Palm.
Throughout the various unit designations, the mission has remained the same -- providing quality health care services.
